Your creditor likely sent you several reminders. It's possible you didn't receive these letters (for example, due to a change of address), or perhaps you received the reminders and overlooked them.

There are two scenarios:

  • we have been hired by your original creditor to resolve this situation, or
  • we have purchased your debt.

This is why we are contacting you.

Our goal is to offer a solution tailored to each person's circumstances.

Whatever your situation, our advisors are here to listen and provide you with suitable solutions. We prioritize amicable approaches that take your situation into account for a quick resolution. That is why we analyze all options and offer you personalized payment solutions while ensuring the confidentiality of your data.

For civil claims, as long as there is an unpaid balance, the debt remains due. We are contacting you because your account still has a debit balance with your creditor.

The statute of limitations varies depending on the nature of the unpaid debt. In some situations, these time limits can be suspended depending on the status of the case and any ongoing collection activities.

For any further information, we encourage you to contact your case manager.

The FICP (Fichier des Incidents de remboursement des Crédits aux Particuliers)  is a French database managed by the Bank of France (Banque de France) that lists individuals who have had repayment incidents.

A person is listed mainly in two cases: non-repayment of a loan or failure to repay a bank overdraft.

An FICP listing lasts for 5 years, but this period can be shortened if the situation is resolved, particularly by paying off the debt that led to the listing.

You can check your FICP file for free at any time by contacting the Bank of France.

It can take some time to update your file.

If you are still being contacted by EOS France after paying your balance, please send us your proof of payment. You can send us your proof via our contact page by selecting "I want to provide or request additional information about my file."
